SpoolShare
A shelf of colourful filament spools

Your crew's filament, on one shelf - why we built SpoolShare

· SpoolShare

Every print crew knows the ritual. Someone starts a project, needs a very specific colour, and the group chat lights up: "Does anyone have galaxy black? Is it free? Can I swing by?" Ten messages later you learn the spool was lent to someone else two weeks ago - or that three of you bought the same silk white independently.

SpoolShare is the fix: one shared shelf for the whole crew.

How it works

Everyone keeps their own catalogue of spools - brand, material, colour, notes. Adding one takes seconds: paste a product link from a shop like Prusament, Bambu Lab or Polymaker, and autofill reads the brand, material and colour for you.

Then you create a page and invite friends with a single link. Every visible spool each member owns shows up there automatically. No per-page assignments to manage - if you own it and it is not hidden, your crew sees it.

The heart of the app is one small state: available or taken. Lending your galaxy black to Marek? Mark it taken, optionally with a note ("Marek, until March"). Every open page updates instantly, so nobody drives across town for a spool that left the shelf yesterday.

A palette, not a spreadsheet

Spools are drawn as coloured rings and sorted by hue, so a page reads like a paint palette rather than an inventory table. Gradients, duals and finishes like silk or matte render true to what is on the shelf. You will spot the missing colour in your collection at a glance - and stop buying duplicates of the ones you already have.

Free, no install

SpoolShare runs in the browser, phone-first, and signing in is one tap with Google. Add your first spool, make a page for your crew, and the next "who has it?" question answers itself.

Open SpoolShare and put your shelf online.
